Terms & Conditions

Registration fees
This event is free to attend and is by invite only. The free ticket allows invitees to join all sessions, the networking activities, seated dinner the evening of 17th June, and overnight accommodation. Catering will also be provided throughout the event.

Cancellation and refunds
All cancellations requests must be sent in writing by email to [email protected].

Cancellations received prior to 27 May 2024 will not incur a charge.
Cancellations received on or after 27 May 2024 will be subject to a £600 fee (this is to cover costs of items like accommodation and catering, that will be booked in advance of the event).

As an alternative to cancelling, attendees may nominate a senior level substitute from within their own organisation, but substitution is not guaranteed and is subject to approval by the event organisers.

Venue and event accessibility
Although the venue guarantees most of it is easily accessible, the Long Gallery, which will be used for all presentations on day 2 is only reachable by a staircase and there is no lift.

Accommodation
Overnight accommodation is included in the event invite, as well as catering on both days of the event. Any room extras will be charged to the attendee.

Data protection
Upon registration, your full name, company name, job title, email address and telephone number will be collected and stored by the BIA in line with its privacy statement, and used to contact you with regard to this and/or other events, products and services which we believe you might be interested in based on your purchase history with us.

Your full name, company name, dietary requirements and possibly a telephone number will be shared with the event venue, Fanhams Hall, if required by them in order to allow you to access their premises (including rooms for the overnight stay) and to accommodate any dietary requirements you might provide.

Your contact details might also be shared with the Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel & Country Club if you are staying overnight and are allocated a room at that hotel instead.

Delegate lists
At many of our events we distribute delegates lists to all attendees, either soft copies or printed ones, in order to facilitate networking. These lists consist of the full name, company name and job title of all registered attendees, but do not include contact details such as email addresses.

We don’t share these list with third parties.

Photographs
We take photographs at most of our events, which are then often used for marketing purposes (e.g.: on twitter, on direct marketing emails, etc).

The data that the BIA will collect from you will be treated in accordance to the above and to our privacy statement. This is necessary in order for you to be able to join our event and is therefore a precondition of service.
